Jim Caple gone from ESPN too. Their MLB coverage is going to completely change.

I did not understand the Romo contract one bit. I realize you needed some bullpen help and he offers something different, but he's good for at least 2 meatballs hung over the middle of the plate per inning.

Maybe if he can get rid of that he'll be really useful, but it's been an issue for years.

Baez I think can be good though, even if he is a human rain delay.

MLB Network was immediately 5X better than ESPN when they came on the air however many years ago, and have only gotten better while ESPN has gotten worse.

Pretty much agree, since MLB net launched I rarely watch ESPN anymore.

Dodgers have always gone after our sloppy seconds and it's never really worked. Maybe Jason Schmidt had a couple good starts before he started sucking. I guess Uribe had some good moments.

Every time a giant becomes a dodger you have to figure they are beyond washed up.

I was just kidding. After winning the WS, a team's fanbase must accept any and all ribbing without complaint for a period of one year.

Haha, fair enough.

You would not imagine the amount of stick I have to take being British and supporting a team that wins anything. It's fine being a British and a Bears fan, or a Nebraska NCAAF fan (don't ask), as soon as the Cubs win suddenly I get scoffed at.

It shows Martin hitting 2 HRs in the 2nd with the score being 1-0.

It used to show him 2-2 in the boxscore, now it is only listed in the summary.

They are quickly fixing it.

Double header too, those poor bullpens. Cards carry 8 relievers and only used four so they will likely be fine. Not sure WTF the BJays are going to do though.

Harper GOATing this year, contract year too?

Nats just put up an 11 spot in the 8th inning. I cannot remember ever seeing that in a game I was following.

15, 11, and 15 last three games.

Also this:

Bradford Doolittle
ESPN Staff Writer

With 15 runs on the board today at Colorado, and counting, the Washington Nationals now have scored 14 or more four times already this season. The other 29 teams have combined for six.

That was a much better end to an extra innings game.
