royals had i think 3 homers in 4 at bats yesterday then back to back to back today

they have 121 homers so far this season. had 95 total in 2014 when they made the WS with largely the same core (gordon, perez, moose, hosmer, cain, escobar) then 139 2015 and 147 last year. the damn ball is juiced

royals can't keep throwing out travis wood or some AAA scrub every 5th day plus vargas had -3 mph average yesterday at 84 mph fastball which is concerning given he is coming off TJ surgery. if they actually want to give themselves a small chance to have a last hurrah they need to get some semi-competent mediocrity like jaime garcia or whatever. i thought wood would be a competent loogy this year out of the bullpen but he forgot how to pitch

beast- i'm not an expert but the ball they are using this year cannot be the same as the ball they used 2 or 3 years ago
