well hes never played OF in his life until this season and there is a big logjam at DH/1B obviously. Is he more valuable then Hyun Soo Kim or Seth Smith v righties? tough to say when you take into account hes very likely worse at D (though Smith and Kim aren't amazing)

I got y'all as crazy. Waino has obv taken a big step back but he's def still a decent back of rotation arm and I could see him rebounding back to solid 3 if he regains some stuff or can make some command improvements. I wouldn't bet on that but would be surprised if he's not a top 4 starting pitching option for crads org. I mean just talking tonight but that judge HR was pretty great hitting on a decent outer third curve and the non bird HR wasn't a bad pitch either just slightly elevated. Bet the league OPS that pitch ~.650

Game was awesome last night. As soon as I saw Barnette coming in for the 6th I had renewed faith because it meant Dyson might be closing. Once I saw Bush warming up for the 8th I knew it was a lock. He's been so terrible this year can't believe Rangers put him back in another high leverage spot.

The Iwakuma starts this year are gonna be nerve-racking. Feels like each one is going to be a tightrope walk between pitching a clean quality start or a complete blowup. His strikeouts are down even for him as a result of a severe drop in velocity so it's all gonna come down to BABIP gods. The whole back end of the rotation has me feeling a bit uneasy, need to get Smyly back. If Cano and Cruz get locked in though maybe the Mariner's put up 5 runs a game and simply need their other starters to be solid rather than great
