Yeah, not sure why I haven't done that yet. I guess it's so rare when I need it, and when I do, I'm in the blackout area. But ****, it's only $15, lol.

Goldy has feasted on Rockies pitching this series. 7-13, 6 runs, 7 rbi. Lol at him not starting the all star game. He's having a monster year.

Life of a Mets fan; 2 straight walks with the bases loaded and 2 outs. First was to the pitcher. At least he got a strike against the second guy. JFC!

this definetly applied to me back in the days--i just went for the best looking logos/colours/.../ had a georgetown hoyas jacket for example, and never even knew which sport they were playing i only had a good grip on the NBA teams, which i was following a bit--a friend had good old "premiere" were the games were shown at night. that was good fun. during the jordan era i was able to visit the guest family of my sister at milwaukee (the year when green bay packers won the super bowl and everything was plasterd with their items in the stores) and we did a trip to chicago visiting an aunt of the family as well. these weeks were probably the best vacation i ever had. since then i am a (moderate) bulls fan...and speaking of chicago. maybe i should go with the Cubs if they manage to get into the playoffs. will give them a go next.

hehe well, i am already a fan of that jose baptista dude at least. saw some compilations of nasty stuff and such, and he was featured a couple of times. i think the game needs people with "character", so there is a start.
if they go on and play choclair and frankenstein at their statium, i will be sold
heard "uptown baby" by L.T.&P.G. at the Mets stadium and liked that as well. one of my fav tracks ever.

Godschmidt so good. Leads MLB in runs and rbi; 5th in f-baserunning.

Correction: 38th straight game to begin a season, not as big of deal as I had initially thought.
Still pretty cool, though.

At first I thought it was a silly stat/record, but then I realized that for a reliever coming in for three outs in a close game, getting a strikeout (and therefore not allowing the batter a chance to get on base) is pretty clutch.

He's probably the NL MVP again. And again, he probably won't get it.

I would say that right at this moment in time it's basically a toss up between him and Scherzer.

When should he have won it? Don't think he's been unfairly overlooked in any particular season.

Probably should've/could've won in 2013.

Edit: had an even better year in 2015, but BRO was a stud.

Kershaw/McCutchen/Gomez all had higher WAR that season (per BR), though he was obviously a contender.

He finished 2nd in the voting, no reason to think he's not going to win if he keeps it up.

Chris Taylor reminds me of the prototypical Cardinals player. I'm am very thankful he's a Dodger.
