The 4 HR in a single game list has always been one of my favorite fluky stats. Mark Whiten?? Bob Horner in 86 (not ~79)?

I think in Bill James' seminal "2000 years of Willie Mays" article, designed to examine the effect of "luck" over an entire season, he mentioned Mays never got 4 homers in a game in the entire simulation of more than 300K games, even though he actually *did* accomplish it in fewer than 3K games.

Yeah wind, pitchers, and all that, but I don't think it's complete nonsense as far as streaks being meaningful vs. random.

I'm all for it since it helps Lamb's stats and all, but lol at the outfielder completely whiffing on a catch and Lamb getting credit for a triple and 3 rbi

Nice. I'm going again next Tuesday and then hopefully a lot more thereafter. I take the light rail home and the stadium is in the way so it's super convenient. I snagged tickets off the gametime app in the bleachers for 9 bux and then an inning ago walked down and usher basically asked me to go sit closer while I was walking around. Any recs for best concessions? Went with garlic fries today
