The nice thing about Kershaw is that you get a few runs on the board and the game is pretty much over. LOL, just kidding.

Yep. Just find it interesting that he's considered a no-doubter at this point while Johan isn't close with just 10 WAR less. (not really disagreeing with either viewpoint, fwiw)

Well:

-If he gets caught cheating somehow and quits, no

-If he is hit by a bus and dies, yes

I mean, Jim Bunning is a hall of famer, and Rick Reuschel got 0.4% of the vote his only time on the ballot. Please explain...

Why does ESPN have a chick talking during a baseball game? She's imagining how conversations might go if Terry Collins and Matt Harvey tell each other how they really feel--it's like having a goddamned emotionally intelligent Rick Sutcliffe out there and it's freaky.

I read that ESPN is thinking about canning Sunday Night Baseball altogether

Ratings stink

Perfect game duh.

LoMo, or as my friend refers to him, the high school swim team captain looking b****, is up to 14 bombs!

David Price starting tomorrow. Nice slate of day action.

No 10pm ET starts. Should be required to have at least 1 per day with 6 teams in the Pacific time zone!

It's terrible having 3 people in the booth. There's non-stop talking. Every little thing gets dissected and there's never a moment of quiet. One of them has to go; I don't care which one.

I'm still just ecstatic that one of them isn't Curt Schilling

And it has zero to do with his "politics"

And put on what? Back to making TV shows? I do miss playmakers.

I wish someone collected data for injury probability by play. Ive felt for some time that MVP calibre sluggers should keep base stealing to a minimum, even if they are good at it, since the value isnt much and the injury risk is disproportionately high. Same goes for crashing into walls.

High value players benefit their team more by backing off a bit on high risk plays IMO

Boone and Mendoza are terrible. They are in the wrong role. Mendoza would actually be a pretty good play by play person, and Boone needs to alpha up the booth a little with his MLB experience, but his voice is a little soft for me.

Yeah, that booth is terrible, even though I generally like the idea of having a female voice in there. I've heard radio guys who were more interesting than the three of them put together.

Meanwhile Boog is probably the best announcer they have but is relegated to the backup team.

We've got Kurkjian, Virk, and Grandpa Ross in the booth now. I like Timmy in general, but not a pleasant group to listen to.

Just saw something interesting. Tyler Chatwood hasn't allowed a hit on a curveball, and a BAA of .024 in his slider.
