its great how his research confirms basically no pitcher in baseball history has ever succeeded with as low a K rate as Cook, but sabermetrics are wrong because Cook has had 3 good starts and is somehow different than all these other pitchers.

also ERA is an even worse measure for Cook than for most pitchers because of course errors are going to happen when every single batter puts the ball into play

#1 seed has to play 1st 2 games on the road

and they have to wait to see where they're going and fly there in one day

so like if its tampa/laa in wild card match yankees have one day to fly 1000 miles or 3000 to play 2 on the road

why would anyone want to be the #1 seed?

he's a good pitcher, besides that when you go from pitching 16 times a year against 4 of the best offenses in baseball to 16 times a year against 4 of the worst, i wouldn't be surprised if he's a top 10 WAR next year
