I'm searching the internet and can't find one word other than random tweets from randoms.

The mlb.com article with extensive game coverage never mentions that Mexico was initially thought to be advancing. What the hell.

The Netherlands regularly has 4 shortstops in their lineup. Well, I don't know if Profar is still called a shortstop.

Amazing how mexico's national teams keep finding new cruel ways of breaking Cruizn's heart

So that guy not tagging up to go from 2nd to third was huge. If he scores (the next batters deep fly was certainly good enough but may not have happened) that extra run to push it to a 3 run lead is the difference.

well that's not true. i remember the pirates season where he was utterly spectacular and upon further review he actually had 2 years as a starter with the mets where he was decent

but the point is valid otherwise

Odor may be the least likeable person in baseball.

Fyp.

Is roughneck even a term? I'm upset that I slept the Cuba/Japan.

I couldn't find the 2p2 playing baseball thread.

During the WBC games they have been airing commercials for a local senior baseball league, 19+ and all skill levels. I looked it up and there are 8 divisions of 8 teams. Sounds sick.

Anyways, I haven't played in 12 years, weigh 50 pounds more than i was as a Billy Butler-esque high school type, though I'm currently trending very positively in that category. Still poor fitness, haven't even stepped into a cage in almost 2 years, but I think I just need to do it. Live at bats are my favorite thing I've done in life.

Do it, I'd love to play but I'm missing like 70% of my elbow ligament. I'd give anything to be back on a mound again

PSSBL? KyleB plays in that. I went to their tryout before I moved to Portland. Grounders, fly balls, BP in a cage, live toss from maybe 40 feet. And pitchers and catchers on the side. If you get to the cage and get some fielding practice somehow you should be fine if you played in HS.

Just do it, you will not regret it. So glad I started playing again 8 years ago. Now I am aiming for the 50+ World Series in a few seasons.

I will bump that other thread.

GL. If you make it, try setting up whatever your ridiculous LL HR derby bet was with them.
