I'm watching The Tenth Inning, for some reason I forgot that Bonds broke the single season record in 2001. How pissed was Bonds about 9/11 overshadowing him breaking the single season record.

I had tickets for the Giants dodgers game on either 9/11 or 9/12 that got cancelled. The rescheduled game a week later was the one where he broke the record

I'm not saying 9/11 was a good thing though

Was it that long? Idk. I remember the Giants were eliminated that day cuz they lost and nobody cared. They had a postgame ceremony with willie mays talking and everyone was interrupting him chanting 4 more years (bonds was an FA) and mays got mad
