if by weird you mean completely understandable but also completely unjustifiable then I agree. Lots of casualfan.jpeg out there.

I was little but I remember a Yankee throwing a no hitter and losing. I googled and found Andy Hawkins but I don't remember him and then it said it was later ruled it wasn't actually a no-hitter, they ruled one of the errors a hit. That is tough.

In 1992 Matt Young had one for the Red Sox where he gave up 2 runs on 7 walks and an error and lost the game 2-1.

technically he didn't, a pitcher must pitch 9 innings for an official no hitter

The Andy Hawkins no hitter was awful scoring. Multiple balls were lost in the sun and called errors despite fielders never getting a glove on the ball.

It was considered a no hitter for a few years until the official rules were revised to include the 9 innings and a W clauses.

Gavin Floyd threw 9 inning no hitter for the phillies in single A but lost the game 1-0.

i hadn't heard of any major leaguer doing it, but baseball reference is saying Ken Johnson on Houston threw 9 innings, 0 h, and lost to the Reds. Pete Rose reached on error, advanced, scored on error in top of 9th. 4/23/64

Wikipedia has one more, a combined no-hitter that resulted in a 2-1 loss
