ya so we are good on the sheet. some thoughts

tulo and longoria are great picks. kind of meh on a pitcher before either of those guys. kershaw has to be the guy if you're taking one, though. pretty sick that i thought we had an outside shot at kershaw, lol.

ellsbury honestly a godawful pick and i'm not even trolling

oh and stanton rapes obviously

Stanton is a sick prospect but he hasn't exactly moved mountains yet.

People hating on Lincecum are vastly overrating youth. And failing to realize how good he is and will be for at least the next 6 years.

uh, i mean my roommate will.

i can't PM you with this account till i have however many more posts you need to PM, and uh, he is self-banned till feb 2nd or 3rd.

i feel stupid talking like this but i have no idea what is possible with just getting banned even longer if i don't. was so stupid to self-ban in the first place. been productive and still keeping up with 2+2 and the only thing it's done is cause frustration when, uh, my roommate can't post when he sees something he wants to reply to

had Kershaw #1 on mental big board, but might have not been applying proper pitching value deductions

had lolsbury and lincecum as late 2nd/early 3rd rounders, really, although i was sure timmay would go first round. lolsbury, really had no idea where he'd go.

i'm really surprised at the first overall pick, because grear could have so easily gotten away with several undrafteds there

i hate the kershaw/lincecum picks simply cuz i think taking pitching in the top 10 is a huge mistake in this draft. plenty of aces will be available in the upcoming rounds, but there won't be many, if any, franchise hitters

and ya "pitching wins championships" and all that silly short-series, high-variance crap, but the giants, with the best pitching in baseball, still needed a one in a million collapse by the padres just to get into the playoffs, and this past year 4 of the 6 lowest team ERAs belonged to teams who didn't even make it into the playoffs, and the 2 of those 6 that did didn't even make it into the LCS
