Can't figure out my team's WAR, since I undoubtedly would have had to do some switching around (or trade if hypotheticals were allowed for) to accommodate for how awesome Aaron Hill was. (Last round bitches) Hit on some other picks, missed on some too. My staff was ok, Beachy getting hurt didn't help. Still like my core going forward.

my starters put up a WAR of 45.1, not as bad as i initially thought. tabata killed me.

**** it, I dont remember the exact draft order, but I'll make a review of my team, lol at me:

Hitters:

Cameron Maybin - meh last year, injured and bad in small sample this year. Only 26, could still end up ok
Dustin Ackley - lol, probably one of the worst picks in the draft, still just 25, should end up a regular at least
Evan Longoria - my 1st round pick, injured last year, elite when healthy
Justin Smoak - horrible last year, horrible start this year, but showing some hope lately
Devin Mesoraco - rough first season, better this year, stock dropped
Gerardo Parra - ok last year, good this year, more than I hoped for
Michael Choice - this one was a risk at the time and took a step back, now in AAA with ok stats, but not standing out
Jake Marisnick - promoted to majors recently, on klaw's top 50, looking ok
Xander Bogaerts - consensus 2nd best prospect in baseball, hopefully great things to come

ugh, so that isnt looking well, but some hope going forward

Pitching:

Josh Johnson - good last year, bad this year, feel pretty neutral
Trevor Bauer - sigh, that was a huge gamble and doesnt look good
James Paxton - progressing, now in AAA, should reach majors this year
Jarrod Parker - very good last year, meh this year, cant complain overall
Matt Harvey - clearly my best pick, not much to say
Brett Anderson - hasnt looked the same since injury
Zach Britton - also injured a lot, still hopeful
Taijuan Walker - perhaps the best pitching prospect in baseball, very happy
Carlos Martinez - top prospect, progressing well, reached majors this year
Justin Nicolino - good prospect, now in AA
Dylan Bundy - best prospect in baseball last year, then blew out his arm and had to get TJ...still should recover

Pitching looks good and should only improve

I'd say overall its going worse than I hoped for, but theres a lot of upside still

Not much has changed here. Worst middle infield in the game. Cobb (until he got nailed) Porcello and Masterson are looking good though. Maybe another thumb for Gomez. Replacement level middle infield but the rest of the squad can compete.

Hosmer is turning that meh into several thumbs the last 2 months

After owning hosmer in a couple leagues on and off since he got called up, I wont make any judgement until he does it over 500 at bats at least. His swings last night and in the last series vs the tigers look awesome though.

As someone who has seen practically all of his swings, he literally was incapable of pulling a line drive all of last season and the start of this season. His swing is fixed. He's back to hitting how he was in minors/his rookie year now, which is awesome.

My team ended up real bad, and a lot of people were saying it was one of the best "win now" teams in the draft. Shows how quickly an older player's career can go bad. (Though my younger picks also did not pan out at all.)
