Would be nice if there was anything in here about the actual prospects?

Re: MLB 2012 Draft

I wrote something about an unnamed pitcher who has fallen a bunch but people like yougotgot get mad when I do anything to "self-promote," so you gotta find it on your own.

I hate a pick on Giolito and not only due to his injury. I really like Gausman. Hate Diekroger and Piscotty (lol Stanford hitters). Zunino may be interesting; weird swing but can't deny the power from a premium position.

This draft is ****ing horrible, BTW. One of the worst in decades most people think; possibly the literal worst ever. College crop sucks. Mark Appel would be like... the 9th best arm in the 2011 draft at best. Right behind Sonny Gray IMO. Gausman is good but unspectacular.

HS kids are injured or have a lot of questions. Buxton has 80 speed 75 arm but the dude might just not hit for **** and plays against dog**** competition where he's from. Giolito's elbow is ****ed and his mechanics are very questionable; I like his teammate Max Fried a lot more.

Compare the top 3-4 pitchers here with Gerrit Cole, Danny Hultzen, Trevor Bauer, and Dylan Bundy. Any single one of those would be the slam dunk LOL @ YOU GUYS first pick in this draft with a berth the size of a moat between that pick and the next pick. Ridiculous how bad this draft is.

Re: MLB 2012 Draft

The biggest wildcard is a hs pitcher giolito who got injured 2 months ago, he was a potential number 1 pick. But he cant drop 30 picks or w/e and be signed for a large amt anymore.

Guess it doesn't matter that the Tigers don't pick in the top million of this draft.

Rumors out there are making it sound like he's gonna be a tough sign and he'll go to UCLA instead.

Re: MLB 2012 Draft

Yea but with the new draft system, no one can really tell....

If he is drafted top 10, I don't see why he turns it down unless his family is super rich. He can still get 2+mill, which is **** load of $.

Old tigazz style, but castellanos(sp..) an overslot pick who fell to tigazz in 2010 draft is doing very good in the FSL, but knowing the tigazzz, they will probably rush this year to 3B, and fk him over long term..

Ala Andrew Miller, Cameron Maybin, Rick Porcello, and Jacob Turner etccccccc

Re: MLB 2012 Draft

The top 5-10 is completely unknown at this point what the order is, unlike the last 5~ years or so..

Twins could go many ways...
Their minor league has a top 5 player minor league player thats 2 ~years away in sano, but no one else in the top 100~ iirc.
