it's real simple. LBJ went on national television and celebrated the 7 titles he was going to win. Jordan stayed with his original team and demanded better players, while lebron became part of riley/wade's superteam.

I think it's funny that people are trying to hold Jordan's time at UNC against him, or his leaving basketball after his father died. with 4 more full seasons, MJ would have more than 6 rings.
