Guys really, out of court for the GOAT does really count?

Either way no one is perfect whether Lebron Jordan or Kawai are better of the court or not....

Everyone is imperfect so we should be a bit shy about this stuff.

ps: i actually give less respect to somone that played the game of being perfect when we all know no one is.
Republicans are really good at this. image first, fact after.

I agree, it's not even close off court so MJ guys should stick to the on court stuff.

i find it disturbing that shows do not get the facts straight to promote a bias opinion and here it was maybe the case.

Accusing other on what your doing yourself,
talking out of your a$$ and saying you know people like us,etc.
You dont even know if i am a girl or man, gay or straight, old or young, etc.

Wonder whos more stupid, people you call them they are or thinking by calling them stupid you think it add more weights to anything you are saying lol...

Anyway i forgive you but please you should start to think a little bit because twice now you accuse me of saying i am stupid on thing i simply report from "credible" source.
Once Barkley and the other, that show up there.
it doesnt matter to me what sex your are or your orientation. that is of no consequence. that wont change the fact that you are stupid.

and no, you did not report from a "credible source". you posted that lebron and kobe were similar. I quoted that post.

if you dont actually think that, then you could clarify it. but you wont bc you do actually think that. you just are upset that someone is calling you out on your idiocy.

this is called shifting the goalposts. we were discussing clutch stats. shots at the end of the game in the playoffs. capone totally owned you by posting stats that showed lebron was every bit jordans equal in those situations.

you shifted the argument to all time performance in the finals.

and btw, once again, lol at thinking that his performance as a 22 yr old agains the spurs in 2007 is somehow an indictment of his career. just another example of your idiocy.

the fact that he was still in high school makes it more excusable, not less. most people do a lot more cringe-worthy things during their teen years than giving themselves a pretentious nickname.

yes the miami show was an embarrassment, maybe he whines too much to the officials at times despite receiving star treatment (the same treatment Jordan had), and can be passive-aggressive to the media sometimes. but regardless of whether you think he's the goat or not, he's handled his career remarkably well for someone who's been in the national spotlight since he was 16 (?).

it's really weird that some people amplify Lebron's annoying-but-harmless character flaws and almost completely ignore other stars who are actually bad people.

Nah I could definitely see how Lebron could be annoying and unlikable. He is definitely insecure and passive aggressive and I can see how people could hate his personality. Seems pretty unarguable that he's a "bad person" though. He does tons of charity stuff and has never been in trouble off the court.

Also googling the King James nickname it looks like the media gave it to him in high school and the self appointed thing is merely propaganda by haters. If anyone has any proof otherwise link it

In terms of talent and background/upbringing he literally hit the top .000001% of being a good person.

LeBron has 3 of the top 4 finals PERs out of him and MJ.

Let's stop acting like he's only played like the GOAT once in the finals.

In b4 "lol PER"

DAMN Right ...
Have you seen the list of per , it got the Jordan and LeBron at the right place. It look at the rest ...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Play...iciency_rating

David Robinson at 4
Chris Paul at 6
While Kareem Abdul jabbar at at 12 and Tim Duncan at 13 ?
Bird 17 ?
Ok ....

If a stats give so much distortion over large sample I would take it with a grain of salt .

It's interesting that Lebron played with a guy who has a top 10 all time PER and another who shows up at 28 and Jordan didn't play with anyone in that top 50 on his team, ever.

And if you look at the top 20, Jordan played far more games against a more impressive group of guys. Most of Lebron's competition starts showing up just outside the top 20.

edit: Looking at the updated list, Wade is down to 12th, and Curry Westbrook are now in the top 20. Pippen did have a high PER while on the bulls, but several years of being a lesser player post-bulls dragged his numbers down to 115th.

I count 7 in LeBron's era in the top 20 and 7 for Jordan.

You are correct in that if you go by Top 30 it expands to a 14 to 7 edge, with TMac and KLove just missing out on the Top 30.

Also PER isn't pace adjusted and MJ played close to 10% more possessions per game than Lebron

Current top 20.

Vs Primarily Jordan

Shaq (IMO)
David Robinson
Barkley
Johnson
Malone
Olajuwon
Bird

Vs Primarily Lebron

Paul
Durant
Duncan
Westbrook
Curry

I'm not crediting Wade as being against Lebron since he was a significant team mate of his. So I see 7 vs 5, with a footnote that Lebron teamed up with one guy from the 20. By the time Lebrons teams were relevant, Shaq wasn't relevant anymore, and even joined Lebron briefly.

So you're counting Shaq against LeBron for playing with him but not counting Shaq as playing against Lebron.

Interesting how that works

Fwiw Lebron played 50% more games vs Shaq than MJ

Peak Shaq competed some against Jordan. Stopped the bulls in 95. Then some peak Shaq played during the years between Jordan and Lebron. Washed up Shaq competed against and with Lebron.
