They are a terrible fit.

Though I guess LeBron could really coast through the season.

I am interested to know how far Lebron his over the top of Kobe as well, i am curious.

Well, for example, Kobe has never won a playoff series as the best player on his team, and LeBron has carried far worse supporting casts than Kobe has ever had both to the NBA Finals as well as the best record in basketball.

Also LeBron has been significantly more successful in the clutch.

To specifically answer your question though, I'd say around the 6th or 7th or so season LeBron had that was better than any season Kobe had.

Id take Kobe's career both if I had to be a fan of one of them and also if I had to be that player himself.

Saying Pau>Kobe is like saying Wade>LeBron. It's just nonsense.

Kobe played in a super stacked conference his entire career. A conference whose 7th best team was better than the second best team in LeBron's conference his entire career. LeBron is was and always will be a ****ing joke.

AJ/Gerb/Mont are all in the same boat. Mont esp sounds like a pinoy commenting on Undisputed's facebook videos.

Yeah the main difference is that we got all time greats like Yao Ming and Jeremy Lin now. Jordan never faced asian greatness.

Popularity is huge in Asia now and in the future it might change the league more. You can't deny that guys like dirk, manu, Parker haven't had an effect on the league.

Last year we had 8 internationals picked in the first round and 7 in the second. Year before 4 and 13 for those stats including Porzingus.

Just looked at a random nba draft from the 90s; there were 2 internationals in kukoc and some scrub. If the pool of players is larger, in fact much larger you'd guess that the league quality would go up some. It's not like the number of teams in the league has gone up exponentially in the same period.

We've had good/great internationals in the past, now we just have many more. Lin is from the us.....but I guess if you're judging descent that's true. Ming was great for the league and basketball in general especially China.

Uncle Rico rears his ugly head again. Might/could/should are common words from the bron camp while the Jordan side deals with cold hard facts.

Good on you listing Dirk, Manu and Tony though. All three hoisted the trophy after facing a LeBron team in the finals. There's no list of players who have bested Jordan in the finals though.

Don't let basketball in Asia distract you from that absolute.

Toodles!

Right now you have gasol bros, manu, Parker, dirk, taps, saric, serge, Greek freak, embiid (although he played college ball in us), Rudy g, Jonas, vucevic, Nokic, nurkic, etc. A ton of the best young players in the league grew up abroad. Unless you don't pay attention to the league could you ignore this fact.

There is a long list that bested him in the playoffs though. Again you bring up the finals; I'm shocked.

We're discussing the greatest of all time, not guy who won the most 1st rounds. Rings, trophies, the word champion, these mean more to the conversation than what 1st round 1/2 seed vs 7/8 seed results.

Sorry your flimsy argument has to continually be mocked for the inane proposal it is

ill nibble one little bit

lebron favoured 1/7
Jordan favoured 6/6 with 5 landslide favourites.

jordan played 10 hof
lebron played 19 absolute locks (not including kawhi or harden) and about to be 23 (and probably 27, 31 etc)

jordan = 1.6 hof per final
lebron =3.2 hof per final

jordan has had team mates with 7 all nba teams including 2x first (all pippen)
lebron has had teams with 4 all nba teams with no first (3x wade, 1x kyrie)

jordan has had teams mates with 9 all nba defensive teams including 7x first (all pippen) (rodman didnt get it while he played but obviously was still really good)
lebron has had team mates with 1 all nba defensive team (1x second team varajeo)

so lebron played against better teams, with worst casts and over achieved.

add to the fact lebron has a peak thats going to be longer than jordans entire career, if he isn't within 1 ring of passing him, than I feel sorry for your offspring.

Here's the bron camp with some more Russian disinformation.

Show where Jordan was favored in all six finals. Until then the rest of your post is as covered in **** as your initial sentence.

But here's another fact from the Jordan side: the Celtics 16.5 underdog win last week in brons 11 pt 6 turnover opus was the largest playoff upset in the last twenty years.

I'll play with your flawed logic though and remind you the 2011 heat were favorites to the tune of -180 per bodog for the series. Bron coughed up that series lead en route to Dirk making his whole team look like bitches.

Despite brons ability to guard anyone on the court and being a supposed amazing defender, Dirk Nowitzki destroyed the team by employing a Jordanesque will to win.

via nba.com and espn, jordan had an average of 66% chance to win over the course of his 6 trips to the finals. 91 and 98 were the only ones close, so I change my statement to the following:

Jordan favoured 6/6 with 4 landslide favourites.

Thank you for pointing that out.

I would have been surprised if Bulls v Phx was a landslide favorites to the Bulls.

I'm surprised that Gerb iLL hasn't made the argument that the league was better back in the day because the USA Dream Team use to tear up the opposition, now the USA struggle to win international games! Talked about the game dropping off!

You do obviously realize that winning 6 from 6 even as a 66% favorite is still pretty incredible.
