Would MJ have picked Bosh and Waids as teammates?

MJ is still the GOAT. Lebron is the best since and has a chance to overtake him. Won't be this year though, even if he wins it again.

At least a few more years at his current high level.

People saying MJ didn't have as great competition back in the 90s. lol. No way Miami would win more than one game in a series between the 96 Bulls and the current Miami team.

Also I still love to see MJ play without anyone hand checking him in his prime.

Why hasn't anyone written a book titled, "The LeBron Rules" with a subtitle "50 shades of slank"

LBJ is very consistant, pretty much giving 28/7/7 every night in the playoffs and season. Where Jordan would score 50-55 if his team needed him to do so (while also grabbing 5-6 rebounds and assists)

If their careers both ended today I would say Tim Duncan is > LJ. IF Tim Duncan can win a 5th championship and 4th finals MVP. I would have to put TD>>>>LJ and LJ would have to do a lot to top him, let alone get close to MJ. If LJ can win it this year he starts to get into the discussion of GOAT since Jordan. Right now that between Kobe and TD.

Calling LJ the all time GOAT is speculating that he will stay healthy and win a bunch more championships. I will say he is likely the most complete 1 on 1 player of all time. NBA is a team game and people are confusing the greatest physical package with GOAT NBA player..

Going to be hard if 2/3 of the Big Three go 3-11 and 1-8 for a combined 15 points again.

Have to disagree across the board here. LJ > Kobe or Duncan. There isn't a lottery team you add LJ to that doesn't make the playoffs and there isn't a playoff team you add Lebron to that wouldn't contend. Can't say the same about Kobe or Duncan. I say this loving both those players and there is no doubt they are legends of the game.

Also if this was just a discussion of 1 on 1 MJ >>>>>>>>>>>>>> LJ. It's Lebron's all-around game that makes him so special.

This feels pretty wrong if we're talking about a sub-30 year old Duncan.

So hobbled TD who has played well this year but has hardly lead his team to victory gets a ton of credit if his team wins another title and some how this really shifts the posts in extreme favor for TD over LBJ? This is insanity. Duncan has a 20.3 PER and is at 50.8% TS% this playoffs--he's been pretty mediocre for his standards albeit still elite at D.

It's almost as if Lebron has never had 50+ point outbursts. I guess Lebron should just force it in game 7.

If a genie gave me the chance to play in the NBA and told me I could have the career of any of these 3 on the court. I would take TD's career. Maybe I would take LJ's in a few years from now.

IF LJ has not had close to the best career of these guys. How can he be the current GOAT? He is in his 10th season and has 1 title. That is not NBA GOAT material. Though I know his career is not over and he hopefully has a lot of time to become an all time great. He needs to start winning though.

it's weird that surroundings don't play a role in your ratings of players--when they clearly play a huge role in Duncan's success and a players ability to get a ring. like Duncan has had literally the best situation possible. he went to a team that tanked and had a good team without its best player. he then was gifted a top 5 coach of all time. and then his team hits the jackpot on multiple occasions with low picks on international flyers. when evaluating players it should be their performance that really matters, not how well their team does especially when a ton of that is clearly outside the player control.

Yet the same criticism was given to MJ his first six seasons.

wat. 5.5 seems high and they are obv not 80% this year ( i realize you posted b4 tonights game but i cant imagine they are huge favs against the spurs even if they win tonight).
