I agree with you here. The Saints need to be punished in some sort of way. And it's sickening to me to think Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis reportedly did nothing to stop the situation while reportedly knowing about it.

This. I'm sorry, but that hit was clean. Any QB in the league will get lit up a lot if he goes to make a tackle after throwing an INT. It's the defense's free shot at the QB, given all of the rules in place when rushing the QB. Any defender in the league would have taken that shot on Warner. Maybe it contributed to ending his career, but honestly, if he wants his long-term health, he should have retired before this, given his history of concussions. Concussions are srs biz.
