Pretty simple concept I think - what brutal loss by your rivals or just hated team/player's tears do you remember tasting the sweetest? The only caveat is it can't be against your own team. Feel free to let all manner of schadenfreude and socially mal-adjusted bitterness spew forth. Bonus for pics/gifs of players pouting, crying, looking shocked, etc. on the sideline.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any pics like that of my game, so I'll just post the standard sequence:
Spoiler:

And I hope you always will you dirty cheating, Lenny Dawson-spearing, stabby scumbags.

If choking was rated as art the 1999-2000 Purdue Boilermakers' performance in the Elite Eight against the Wisconsin Badgers would be hailed as Gene Keady's "American Gothic."

Brian Cardinal hit a free throw with 9:48 to pull Purdue within three points of a shamefully hideous Wisconsin team in what was probably the worst Elite Eight matchup in history. The Boilers would make two field goals in the next 9 minutes and lose Keady's easiest potential path to the Final Four ever.

Cardinal, that rat, who looked somewhere between 28 and 46 years of age ended his college career that night in complete failure. He joined fellow seniors Mike Robinson, Jaraan Cornell (who was ****ing abysmal in the loss) and Chad Kerkhof going out on the lowest of low notes. The brown noise of on-the-cusp tourney performances if you will.

Junior gunner PG Carson Cunningham (seriously, look at that idiot... like Jimmer except about 30% as good and 3% as likeable) deserves special mention for refusing to distribute the ball instead of constantly looking for his own (ugly) shot. Their best player on the floor that night was Sophomore big Greg McQuay who couldn't overcome the failure of a group of Seniors choking away the biggest moment in modern program history.

As a child of Indiana who grew up wearing the cream and crimson this loss couldn't have been any sweeter for me. I was 16, had a good-looking, easy gf, my first car, and I had avoided an entire lifetime of "Keady finally did it! I told you!" memes that were sure to come.

It's only gotten sweeter over the years. Sometimes when I'm feeling down I'll dial up the replay on the vault website and just cackle at the failure that was the last ten minutes of that ball game when a group of Purdue upperclassmen proved that they did, in fact, want it as little as possible.

If you hate offense or life, or just really dislike Purdue basketball, here is the vault link. I take no responsibility for the horror held within: http://vault.ncaa.com/?game=306SR056...3A00%3A07%3A00

There was no sweeter moment as a Celtics fan and lifelong Laker hater. It was the total package.

But in terms of sheer hate where I didn't really care about the winner?

MMA

Randy Couture comes out of retirement and just clowns on Tim Sylvia

As punishment for being a Lance Armstrong level dick, George St. Pierre ends Matt Hughes and knocks his redneck ass out, then takes his arm home as a souvenir in the rematch

Chris Leben was a terrible rock em sock em robot fighter with no skill other than having a granite chin, yet he thought he was the **** and ran his mouth in a way that made him more annoying than JJ Redick, Scheyer, and Shane Battier combined. He got matched up with Anderson Silva in Spider's UFC debut, and Leben thought it would be a good idea to talk some **** about how Silva "should go back to Japan where the competition's easier"

wrong, mother****er. bonus points for koscheck being a giant hater in the crowd.

You refused to fight anyone legit once it became clear you weren't the best anymore, and you and your scumbag manager tried to extort the UFC by demanding a 50% cut and special rules for your overrated ass all because people on a corner of the internet thought you were still the GOAT

Losing your legacy, dignity, or millions of dollars, which hurts more
