I was specifically referring to the claim that Americans "don't care" only because we lost. Which just isn't true. Michael Phelps is the king of the world for two weeks, then nobody gives a ****.

Yeah, that's fair. So then my post doesn't apply to you, but for people to suggest this guy hasn't performed well on a big stage before is ludicrous. I think that was the insinuation some people were getting at, that the Olympics and Olympic hockey aren't primetime, which is wrong - especially for the Vancouver games.

He's been a very good goalie for a long time. His team was pathetic in games 4 and 5. Just about anyone would've come in with jitters last night, given the circumstances. Game 7 is his chance for redemption. Until then, nothing to see here.

The Olympics were obviously very pressure packed, I don't know what the deal is with him now. Does the team just not play in front of him or what?

You quote a post talking about how he played well in a high pressure situation in the olympics.
which you obviously didn't read, cause I said NOTHING about how he played in the Olympics till I was forced to back up my point.

SEVERAL POSTS LATER.

What did I say in that post: NOBODY CARED ABOUT THE OLYMPICS.

oh **** would you look at that, the numbers seem to back me up as it only garnered the same amount of attention as a regular season football game.

Re: LOLberto Reboundo - rut roh!

Unicorn's argument is basically that the same amount of people in a country holding a mere 5% of the world population, only care about the Olympics the same as they care about their favorite sport which they are brought up from childhood to hold in a higher regard than God Himself and pursue to no end since it is one of few remaining ways to achieve an American dream and status of an icon in their culture.

He also ignores 95% of the world.

Also lol.

In the post I linked you quoted a post that mentioned his performance in the Olympics. Sorry for assuming you quoted things to add context your response. I should have realized you just mashed buttons on your mouse and keyboard after reading your posts ITT.

Again, which I said nothing about. Nothing at all. Not at any point did I bring up any related to Luongo's performance.
Stop bringing up a point that isn't there to try and save face. This is getting ****ing redundant.

edit: and trying to pass off you're lack of comprehension off as my mistake is childish

It was JUST A SHOT AT THE OLYMPICS. That you got upset over for some random ass reason.
