You could do that, but then that would be dumb. By your standards we could just count next week and whoever wins will be the goat because they won in that moment. Because the past actually occurred at some point and they do teach History in College, let's look at the past. Super Bowls are not given arbitrarily. It occurred when the Nfl and Afl merged.
You are correct; you can make anything look good. However, it's hard to make someone look good during the entire Super Bowl era, which is the modern era. During this time, one team happens to dominate the opposition. That team would be the Pittsburgh Steelers. So, you can continue to make the Ravens look like gold for one season, and I will make the Steelers look like the best organization over 40 seasons and we'll both be right.
