Professor and USA gymnastics doctor fired amid massive sex abuse lawsuit.

Women's gymnastics coach suspended, then quits.

Football players suspended.

Criminal investigation of sexual assault ongoing.

Football staffer suspended.

Title IX investigation ongoing.

Law firm hired to do investigation for the university.

AD and head of NCAA basketball selection committee cancels 2 week basketball tour citing need to be on campus

I'd say we're beyond Ruh Roh and getting perilously close to the time when Riverman makes a "Nuke Sparty From Orbit" thread.

All I'm saying is you can't blame Coach Dantonio for this and say he has lost control over the football team like some of the posters have said. This isn't his fault. This is the fault of those individuals that committed whatever acts they are accused of. Even if they are innocent, they put themselves in the situation to be accused of it.

It's like when Coach Saban gave Jonathan Taylor a second chance and let him on Alabama's team. But he put his foot down to Jonathan Taylor and told him there was ZERO tolerance and if he got into any trouble at all, he was off the team. He also told Jonathan Taylor he had to stay away from the female that accused him of beating her up. Well, he didn't. He let that woman back into his life. She got mad at him, actually injured herself and called the police and said he hit her. He was arrested by the Tuscaloosa police dept and kicked off the team. She later told the police that she had lied, she actually caused the marks on herself, so they dropped the charges against Jonathan Taylor and arrested her for filing a false police report but the damage was done. He was not allowed back on the team because he broke the rules and got into trouble. It was Jonathan Taylor's fault for letting that crazy woman back into his life.

Good news: Jones Day investigation shows that Coach Dantonio followed university policy to the letter, as soon as he heard about potential wrongdoing he stopped the conversation and reported it. Good for him.

Bad news: Three Sparties getting hit with sexual assault charges today, names probably released tomorrow, all signs point to it being Corley, Vance and King.

Also: Robertson kicked off the team in April for criminal mischief

Two players left last week for whatever reason

Rumors of more stuff coming, possibly some PED-related.

That play calling with 2 minutes left was some lol sparty

If they take a knee three times, Michigan has 8 seconds tops, with the ball on the twenty

Somehow Michigan had the ball at midfield with 25 Seconds left.

This is Pedo 2.0

Quote:
More than two years before the serial sexual abuse of athletes by USA Gymnastic and Michigan State doctor Larry Nassar became widely known and discovered, the university failed to protect the women in his care. Police reports, originally obtained by the Lansing State Journal, show that Michigan State allowed Nassar to continue working with patients while he was under investigation for criminal sexual conduct by university police, and did not enforce safety guidelines agreed upon after a patient said Nassar sexually assaulted her in 2014.

According to the police reports, Michigan State first become aware of a sexual assault allegation against Nassar in May of 2014, when one of his female patients filed a Title IX complaint with the university.

That complaint led to two investigations: a Title IX investigation from the Michigan State Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives, and a criminal sexual conduct investigation from campus police. Nassar was suspended by the school during the Title IX investigation. However, he was allowed to return to work after it concluded and cleared him in July 2014, even though the police investigation was still ongoing.

Society still doesn't care about sex abuse. Neither Nassar nor Sandusky are serving life sentences.

Tbh, as someone boycotting the man and being a part of "successful culture", I regret my decision fewer each day.

Agreed that we as a whole better get our collective heads out of our asses - but the secondary criminals are the people/institutions that look the other way. They have the power - they should be butchered. The NCAA got it right initially with pedo st - then backtracked like the spineless grunts that they are. And you see the same thing with their non action at Baylor. And yet if a HS player gets his picture taken with a a alumni broadcaster they can not continue to be recruited by said university.

NCAA is a worthless pile of worthless

Technically accurate, though Nassar, age 54, is serving a 60 year sentence for child porn and hasn't been sentenced yet on other charges. Sandusky got 30 to 60 years at age 68.

Very people get life sentences for any crime.
