Being on the Leicester bandwagon is awesome, highly recommended.

Especially good if you're in a relegation sweat at the other end, every single game matters to me this season

Haven't Leicester been outperforming xG by quite a lot so far?

yea i prob worded that wrong, basically trying to say that in the PL you cant just be an average team that runs super good en route to a title like the 03 marlins or w/e..like, leicester running hotter than the sun 'should' mean they are in 7th place or something like that not ****lng first

Would be pretty much the greatest story I've ever seen unfold watching sports.

I can't even think of a comparable - a #15 seed shipping the NCAA tourney???

The highest pre season model projection I could find has them 7th

If it can't be Arsenal, it might as well be these guys. Then again, the best and brightest of the UK failing spectacularly can never be too big of a surprise in any field.

This is easily going to be a much bigger upset than ANY one game. This would be the most surprising results in sports history pretty easily.

I mean they are competing against clubs that have spent obscene amounts of money over the past 10 years. Prob £2 billion between the top 6. They were playing in the ****ing championship a couple of years ago. This **** isn't suppose to happen.

I mean it would be like some NFL Europe team going over and joining the NFL and shipping the Superbowl

I'm a Leicester fan, wish I'd bet on them, but I don't really sports bet. I'm tempted now to take a long shot for next season.

Any knowledgeable person know the odds of them:

a) Winning the Champions League?
b) Getting relegated?
c) Both?

Yea I think the point I'm trying to make is that something can be a fact without anyone knowing about it. Not trying to suggest this is it but possible.

But back to my earlier question, I think there hasn't been quite a long shot success so going to say this is the greatest of all time achievement if they do it, but finishing 2nd on GD could be greatest achievement oat and no one will care.

Has a team ever competed in the CL and then been relegated in the same season?

1500/1 is the odds for a 'similar' player to win the FO. So i'd imagine it'd be similar odds.

IIRC LCFC were ~-500 for relegation.

What does xG say about Mesut Ozil gently passing the ball to the other team's keeper from scoring position versus slamming it into the net like Vardy?

I genuinely don't understand how it works.

Becker won at Queen's Club a couple of weeks before Wimbledon so that would have shortened his odds considerably, pre-Queen's Club you could have just about named your own price for him to win Wimbledon imo.
