Italian football federation have scrapped the one non-EU player per team rule.

Clubs were only allowed to buy one non-EU player per season after 09/10 season. Now they can grab two new players per year.

I posted a writeup on Mustafa Amini who has moved to Dortmund for the season. While finding some info for that, I also came across that Matthew Leckie has moved from local side Adelaide United to Moenchengladbach (sp). While I have seen more of Leckie then Amini (Adelaide games tend to be on early Friday nights which I watch more then Saturday afternoon's) I think Leckie has a far bigger chance of making it then Amini.

FWIW Leckie is someone that plays on the right wing or as a second striker. For Adelaide (ChrisV would know more then me) he generally played at the RW in a 4-2-3-1 alongside creative attacking Marcos Flores and behind Dutch striker Sergio Van Dijjk, with the left being filled by a mix of Travis Dodd (who moved from ChrisV's club to mine, he may be mad) and a few other young players.

Barca starting the season @ Malaga - should be interesting! And then followed by a home match vs Villarreal, which are always entertaining matches.
