Re: La Liga/Serie A/Bundesliga/Eredivisie/Ligue 1 2012-13
German Supercup (Dortmund @ Bayern) tonight at 8pm German time.
I think it would be good psychologically if we win and can extend the winning streak against Bayern but at the end of the day I don't really care about this game. We lost against Schalke last year and went on to dominate the league and a loss against Schalke is worse than a loss against Bayern for me.
At least both teams are expected to play their strongest teams that they can right now so that should be interesting. Dunno if Götze is out for the game but I want to see him+Reus+Kuba.

Meh at Bayern I think we're not favs.
I don't think Götze played for Dortmund 2 yesterday so he'll see some playing time. I think he'll start and get subbed soonish or come on as a sub.
Bender out 4 weeks, double harnia that requires operation. I guess Leitner will play for him. Kind of wanted to see Gündogan+Leitner anyways and evaluate a bit how much the extra body mass of Leitner helps him

BeIn Sports has the rights to Serie A in Canada, but does not have a channel to show them on. If they try to get on Canadian TV, it's a long process, 6-8 months.
Only hope for Canadian Serie A fans is that BeIn license out the matches for the season.

I've read that they have no plans to sub license any of the games they have the rights to

This is a teaser for the Supercup 2011 live coverage on the Bundesliga's youtube channel. There is no such teaser for this year's match, but I figure for those of you interested in watching later (but don't get it on TV in your country) it may be worth a try, as I guess this will be one of the better quality streams.
The video description says it was available last year in the following countries:

Mandzukic couldn't have asked for a better start either, already showing the greatness of bringing a few un-Gomez-like qualities to the Bavarian table (especially against the Dortmund-machine), creating chances.
