Eh, from reading about him he def seems like a huge basketball fan. I'm sure he's been to Cavs games, but he lives in LA so it makes sense that he goes to all of the Laker/Clipper home games. And anyone who goes to Clipper home games must love the game.

I'm sure he watches Lebron when he goes west and thus saves an extensive bath to wash off the Cleveland.

Give me 3-1 on $100 that he is at a Cavs game at some point in the playoffs this year?

He has floor seats to the Lakers and Clippers so he is obviously more familiar with Western Conf teams. In his mind it's better to go to 2 playoff games in one day than fly 3 hours each way and see 1 game. Obviously part of it is wanting to be seen at the games, but aren't LBJ's games the highest rated?

Having some of the best seats to multiple playoff games on the same day is pretty awesome. I can't imagine how much fun it would be to do that for one playoff season, much less every season like he does.

Nearside at the left FT line in San Antonio tonight.

Running bad wrt seating imo, I really wish he was setting bench-side so we could get a better look at his get ups.

Sitting right next to the left edge of the broadcast row at LAL@OKC. Everyone in the crowd is wearing white but he's got his urban cowboy thing going.

Goldstein refuses to disclose how he made his fortune or his net worth, although the Wall Street Journal speculated that Goldstein made billions in real estate (notably Century City in Los Angeles).[4] When asked, he typically responds, “Let’s just say I had some investments that worked out pretty well." He reportedly spends in excess of six figures on travelling to and attending NBA games. "I try not to think about the cost," he said. "It's worth it to me."[2]

He spends over a million a year on clothes. Was featured on some show "How'd you get so rich" that I saw about 2am one morning.

I think you underestimate what people will do for attention.

Ar you implying that people are paying attention to Clippers games?

The clippers suck but it's still LA and it's still the NBA. Over half the games are worth going to and going to garner some attention even if it's primarily from the visiting team.
