OK so I'm going to explain this to myself like I'm 5 years old, and you guys correct me if I get this way off base:

The goal of this game is to draft a "team" of names consisting of actors, directors, writers, and any other position to assemble a studio. Then we will come up with three ideas for movies, and pick a director, writer, and a cast of actors from our stable. We give the title and the genre, and pitch it to... to whom, is there a judge? A team of judges? I thought samjjones was judging but now he's one of the studios. How will this be evaluated?

Also a lot of people seem to have experience with games like this, so they know what they mean when people say "writeups" and stuff. Can someone link to another game thread similar to this so I can have a template?

I think I have a pretty good idea... well I'm 85% sure of whom I'm picking for the #2 overall selection, but again I need to be sure of how this thing is evaluated before I pick.

Also, if anyone wants to AIM with me and is currently on and willing, PM me and we'll exchange AIMs. (Don't want to publish my AIM publicly for obvious reasons)

PJ, it's not specifically "come up with 3 movies," but that's a decent idea in terms of planning your studio. A writeup is a defense for your pick - I somewhat regret having prohornblower and you as the #1/#2, only bc it would be easier having an Assani etc. do a detailed writeup to set the standard.

Just do your best, it's all in good fun, if you do pick jackie chan 2nd overall expect some backlash tho

Eh, specific movie concepts might be a bit much. Talking about the range of films you could do with the actors/directors seems more realistic.
