The Trout and Penguins are both having trouble filling their farm teams with current agents this season. We'd like to keep things as in-house as possible, so if any 2+2ers out there would like to become a part of the Trout or Penguin families, let us know. You would be creating a slow-build player, who would spend his first 7 seasons in our farm system, and would then go Pro in season 8, spending 5 years on the Pro team (with at least two seasons as a starter.) We would expect full boosting, so please only claim a spot if you're serious, but this is a good chance to get involved with one of the top two 2+2 teams. And remember, the Penguins are in USA Pro now!
Here are the open positions that each team needs, players will be created on day 0 of next season.

Top 2 teams on 2+2???
I believe there's other teams here that have actually won a championship.
I guess you can consider being in a Pro league as the top but winning championships in whatever league you're in should be the goal.
why do you guys take the farm team so seriously and yet do something like put your HB in at QB and run nothing but QB draws in your biggest playoff game?

you're right, < 30 yards of total offense was probably just variance, i'm sure the chances of it "working" were much, much higher than i am giving the strategy credit for
fwiw every qb draw play in the regular season against the yetis defense averaged like 6 yards, but something got changed to start the playoffs. In hindsight it was obv stupid, but would have been massive amounts of epic if it worked. The +ev of trolling the forums in the aftermath made it worth a shot.
I view the Trout and Penguins as the "top 2+2 teams" not only because of how good of teams they are, but also because they are almost fully 2+2 squads, from top to bottom. I mean Moose Jaw is a great team too, with a 2+2 owner, and unlike the Trout, they do have a CPL title. I wouldn't consider them a "top 2+2 team" because of that though. "2+2 team" means more than having some affiliation to 2+2.
