Well, he made his debut....

TSN showed a few of his "highlights". He's slow and didn't get very close to the ball on any of the plays they showed.

In all seriousness, it's sad because he's probably set back progress by a bunch. The next gay athlete will think I better just keep my mouth shut so I don't have a nervous breakdown like Sam.

He was incredibly brave, just not quite strong enough and more important not nearly a good enough player.

Most of us aren't strong enough. I'm usually not, and I obviously have a lot less at stake.

I just want Michael Sam to be happy. He's made it through so much his entire life. You'd think it would be downhill now but that isn't how life works.
