NBCSports ads run on Grantland videos on the mobile youtube app.

Also, it's probably a local affiliate control type thing. I have seen Bellator MMA commercials run during a UFC related broadcast before.

At least Fox Sports 1 makes it seem like a different network than Fox. NBC named their cable sports channel NBC Sports Network. CBS named theirs CBS Sports Network. So you get "No, it's not on NBC, it's on NBC Sports" which can be confusing to some (NBC Sports seems like the production vehicle for NBC). "It's not on Fox, it's on Fox Sports 1" is slightly better, though not as good as, "It's not on ABC, it's on ESPN."

I saw an ad for Breaking Bad on an ESPN baseball game. Of course, it was Sunday Night baseball and Breaking Bad was airing in less than an hour.

For you DirecTV customers--Fox Sports 1 will be channel 219. Apparently MATV, which is currently on 219, will be moving to 214. 607 will be blank.

Also, in unrelated news, apparently NBC Sports Network will be rebranding themselves by referring to themselves only as NBCSN.

Mostly, I really dislike Fox's aesthetic. This steel blue/gray everything just feels cold and uninviting.

Just turned on the channel. Only in regular-def right now in the Atlanta area and for the most part, very little programming that interests me.

Looks like HD might be coming, though (it pretty much has to). FS1 on my channel lineup is 75 (Comcast). Most of the HD channels add 800 to the number - an 875 has appeared without a label and with every show being a TBA. Seems like FS1 HD to me.
