With the new rules/cars, who knows what to expect. RB, McLaren, and Ferrari will all likely be quick. Possibly Merc too. Thought Lotus-Renault might be dark horse, but sounds like their main innovation has already been banned.

Button vs Hamilton will be interesting. Lewis is quicker in qualy, but Jenson runs smarter in the races.

I agree this is last year for MSC. I'm also not expecting much from Kimi.

Can't wait.

I took part in it last season with a couple of friends and it was great fun. Thought we might put together a neat little 2+2 private league.

So please PM me if you are interested and I'll set the thing up and send you league name / password if it's ready.

Sounds soooo complicated.
Probably get it worked out after a week or two though.

Ok, it's not that extreme, but come on! Lauda obviously gives a f*ck about proper behaviour in front of the camera. He's sometimes phoning when camera is rolling or talking to old buddies that he ran into on the pit lane about random stuff when he should be speaking to the other commentator instead, who he constantly corrects in not so charming ways. Plus he made some not so political correct comments about Kubica. (which weren't meant to be insulting obv)
Don't get me wrong, I love Lauda, he's an all time great of the sport, he is honest and often right with the stuff he says. He also brings things down to earth when RTL tries to make a drama or soap opera out of F1.

The question is if Hamilton really has regained his confidence during the winter. Button is bursting with confidence right now. If Hamilton is on his a-game, he's probably ahead. Think this is THE teammate battle to watch this year.

Re: Formula 1 Season 2012

A season matchbet between Button & Hamilton should be of interest to you.

Buttons end to the season was superb though.

Also, how many times do Mass & Hamilton hook up this year? I'll set the line at 3.5

Re Kinni, I forgot he was even back!
'Lotus Renault' had some kind of super braking system linked up with the exhaust which would have given them an advantage......... FIA took it away though

Re: Formula 1 Season 2012

I'm of the opinion button will still finish higher than hamilton purely because of the tyres which are being made even softer this year. I expect hamilton to qualify higher though

Even Master Newey went for that nose? Further proof McLaren got it wrong.

Re: Formula 1 Season 2012

Fairly meaningless tbh

The teams are good at hiding their top speed whilst still knowing what it would be.

Great to have cars out there but until the last few minutes of final practice in Melbourne we won't really know who has form or not.
