I really don't see him going for that price. While he's likely on the move in January, I would think it will be for a price closer to 20m.

So apparently he's on 100k plus at united. There's no way a club of our size/wage structure is paying that and £20m, so unless a West Ham type club who are probably willing to spend a bit more are interested, it'll probably be a big cheaper.

The newly bought Soton midfielders worked out well...I would think the owners will opt for the cheaper Eredivisie options rather than good old Schneiderlin for higher wages

I could see Schneiderlin to Everton happening. Koeman seems to be relying on playing Gareth Barry for more minutes than I imagine he would want to ATM so obviously he doesn't fully trust other options he has. Schneiderlin/Wanyama seemed to work well at Southampton and Gueye having similar attributes to Wanyama but just being a bit better at everything (IMO) bodes well for this being an effective combo. It just seems to fit perfectly.

I'm sure Southampton would love to have him back if money was no object. Clearly though, money does matter, and it doesn't seem the Southampton way to spend what it'll take to bring him back even if he seemed like a sure thing. I think West Ham should be looking at this type of signing too but if Everton are interested, I would be surprised if Schneiderlin would prefer West Ham given a straight choice.
