Wimbledon draw out. Fed pulled a great one all things considered. Winning Halle gave him the 3 seed bc Wimbledon is weird (they count grass season performance this year and Wimbledon last year along with current rank when calculating seeds) so he's on Djok's half with Murray and Nadal on the other side. Potential for another fedal final, knock on wood.

Feds draw is:

128. Dolgopolov
64. No name
32. Either tomic or misha zverev
16. Then either isner, bhagdatis, or dmitrov (so probably the latter)
8. Raonic or Alex Zverev but I'm thinking Alex isn't gunna win this one given what fed did to him in Halle. That's not a fun way to lead into Wimbledon. Then again, he has been great on grass.
4. Djok
2. Nadal or Murray.

So if fed plays as well as he has been this year it looks like a straight shot to the semis, and with djok playing as HE has this year, it's decently likely he makes the final.

Betfair had fed's odds at 9/4, so 30%. I get uncomfortable when people jump on the fed bandwagon, but here's to hoping he pulls out #19, which nobody thought was even a possibility.

Nadal and Djokovic being in the discussion came with the expectation that they would continue winning once Federer was done.

But somehow the opposite happened.

Federer aging like a fine vintage wine. Even Nadal like a half decent red. Djoko more like a can of fruit cider that got pierced in transit somehow.

My guess is he is binging baguettes daily.

It's not OAT, it's single peak. So about as pointless as using one of Tracy McGrady's seasons as an argument for why he's the GOAT. Looks like Del WOATro's peak happened when he beat RAJA in the US Open in aught nine.

Not sure what the standard error is for those ELOs but I'm pretty sure it's way bigger than 1 point.

I'd like to see that table updated to take into account the last couple of year's play. I presume Murray's peak ELO exceeded 2383 when he went like 50-2 to close last season.

Federer earned his final tennis GM norm faster than Novak though, should we take that into account as well?
