(what happened is lewis pitted and put on tyres that are lapping like 5 seconds quicker, kimi came in the following lap and lewis' superior tyres on that 1 lap got him past)

not an issue if kimi had been brought in a few laps earlier

danny can just try to overtake like an absolute maniac safe in the knowledge that rosberg is disincentivised to risk getting taken out of the race (which would destroy his title chances)

Does anyone know the name of the driver who was one year older than Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren Driver Development programme and who was dropped from the programme as a teenager?

I remember reading an interview with him around the time Hamilton won his first world championship and it was kind of interesting if depressing - IIRC he still hadn't accepted he wasn't going to make it as an F1 driver even though he hadn't had a ride in the lower formulae for years.

I tried google but got nowhere with it.
