0-0 ht.

One team has had a horrible week and only 1 point separates them before today.

I like my bet thanks.

"6-0, 6-0, even Kerber couldn't pull this off!" one of the nicer bits of commentating today.

Buddy says that you cannot touch your own penalty when it comes off the post (as opposed to the goalie saving it) - that's why Chicharito's touch was called off there. Really? Never noticed that before.

Giving Labbadia total control over the club seems to work out for HSV.

Drobny starting in goal for Werder today.

Yeah, you can't be the first person to touch it

Edit - think what'd happen if you could, everyone would just tap it half a yard to make the keeper commit, then tap in

Sweet goal by Schnatterer. He could be making loads more money somewhere but rather sticks with Heidenheim hard to argue with that.

Werder hopeless. Possibly the worst team in the top 5 leagues.

Disappointing second half, but Werder obviously had to change their atrocious tactics.

So who is werder going to hire for next season in 2. Bundesliga

Suspects are Gisdol, Luhukay, Breitenreiter, Herzog and Slomka.

Not sure who I prefer, I just hope it won't be Herzog, anyone with a history at the club would be horrible.

buyern are so done. you dont even have to watch the games to know that. all the smart money* this year is on shorting them.

Gisdol would probably be the most fun, but for a relegation battle I'd probably prefer Slomka

Most people want Breitenreiter, what's your take on him?

Slomka seems to be the safest bet to me.

Breitenreiter just seems really uninspiring. In all of last season I couldn't identify a style of football he stood for... no effective pressing, but not a good counter attacking system either. Seemed pretty random most of the time. His biggest claim to fame in the Bundesliga is basically not being as terrible as expected with Paderborn (while still getting relegated). He was successful in lower division but idk

In the Rückrunde last year he seemed like he felt sorry for himself at times which is probably not something you want in your manager in the position Werder are in...

Cheers, I don't follow Schalke that closely but that was my impression as well.

Definitely think even someone like Luhukay would be better than Breitenreiter.

Somewhat comical that this comes against Aue, who played miserable in the season so far.

Schuppan with two own goals today.

This brings us to one of the most glorious matches in Bundesliga history, from 2009. Gladbach beat Hanover 5-3. I can always LMAO at these highlights.
