Messi having just 1 one more is ridiculously bad, considering how easy his career was so far, compared to Ronaldo's. If the roles were reversed, it would probably have been 9-0 or 8-1 for Ronaldo, something like that.

forget it, he knew he was going to score the winning penalty every single time, unlike others. it was a long season, he had to rest a bit. After all, he knew he had to WIN THE FIRST MAJOR TROPHY FOR PORTUGAL.

this is very old news but i read a cpl days ago that the bale xfer documents got leaked early this year. as part of the deal, spuds agreed to a non-disclosure clause which prevented them from making the true amount public. this was put in so that RM could lie about it not being a new record fee

not sure whether this was to con the spanish taxpayer or to protect ronaldo's feelings. or both
