Too bad Essen vs Duisburg is ~meaningless. RWE vs WSV at Hafenstraße last year was a decent occasion

Another shoot-out in the Wehen game. Apparently the Wehen keeper has saved 13 of 22 penalties in his pro career.

Well, he saved 2 of 5 in this shoot-out. Wehen wins 4-3.

Nice OT in Berlin with 4 goals.

While I like Wollscheid for his Glubb performances and also that he just sorta randomly became pro (no youth academy stuff, never played for a big team in his youth either I think), I don't think he's good to start this match.
I wonder when the brown stains in Wolfsburg's white shorts show up.
Luiz Gustavo really looks like Eddie Murphy meanwhile.

Surprised Kumbela isn't starting for the visitors, he looked clearly the best player in the one game sample I have of watching Eintracht this season

Yep not starting Kumbela is weird if he's not injured. Well established player for them.

I'm sure that Gomez handball was hard to spot, in real time it looked nothing like it imo. That sucks.

Good half that.

Finely poised!

Marty,

Meaty challenges in old firm games just add to the occasion as they are boring now.

And you're a ****ing moron if you think meaty challenges add anything especially when no one gets punished for them.

KT face a mess, almost got KO'd at start of last game by the thug and we didn't even get a fk for either act of violence.

GFY

Good half what? Ref a cheating bastard and the sheep team filled with thugs and cloggers. Brutal unhindered physicality, game is crap.

The hun gave a foul against griffiths for being too close to the keeper ffs, didn't matter he was outside the box and didn't even try to touch him nevermind made any contact.

Cheating hun bastard enabling a bunch of thugs.

Great first half though!

You can make an aggressive tackle without fouling. Not every challenge is a foul.

Sliding in and getting the crowd going while winning the ball and not hitting/touching the man. Is perfectly fine. It's part of the game.

A sliding tackle here or there in a old firm game is great and just adds to the drama.

Back to this game, ref has been fine.

My word, what a chance wasted.

Why isn't he passing that in front of him.

Could lose the game for that.

Yeah but that's not what's happening, they're thugs and getting away with it per usual.
