There are very good Japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf, I'm yet to go to one though.
Luang Prabang is a great Laotian place. Take it easy on the chili though. I ordered 'hot' (there are 2 hotter options) and it was just absolutely ****ing insane, the hottest stuff I've ever eaten. Böser Chinese decent too.
Whenever I'm there we end up with beers at the Rhine mostly, can't go wrong with that.
