Yall already know the details but here we go again

Cleveland Cavaliers +650
Golden State Warriors -1000

PM users here if you have interest in other wagers.

Cavaliers

They've got a guy named Lebron James. He is fascinating because he is in contention to be the first person to win MVP, coach of the year, and GM of the year in the same season.

Here is a picture of him.

Here is a picture of your assistant coach from high school. His name is George Hill and he is the starting point guard for Cleveland.

"Khloe Kardashian has bad days with cheating baby daddy Tristan Thompson, and is keeping him on a short leash." This is an actual news headline from today. It will be very interesting to see how Kardashian's leash affect's Tristian's output.

J.R. Smith is on the team, still wondering if you tryna get the pipe

Shaq and Charles Barkley think advil will fix Kevin Love's concussion. But does anyone on Cleveland even want him back?

Jeff Green is hanging around like a panther, playing totally average basketball and loving it.

This man stands around on the sidelines and hopes to pull a Spoelstra

Warriors

This is their best player

This guy is pretty good too. Gotta throw in some SuperSonics

This guy has scored 60 in a 36 point loss and once dropped 37 in a single quarter. At least they won that one.

JaVale Mcgee has averaged 22.5 seconds per game over the last eight contests, but he's always worth mentioning.

Here are some of his career highlights

Head coach Steve Kerr seems like a pretty swell guy

Hope my links are all good and this is a worthy series thread. Creating it helped untilt me after that Houston loss. Thinking Golden State in 4 or maybe 5 but I know that's not exactly going out on a limb.

The finals schedule will help Lebron as there are extra rest days, but I don't see how the Warriors don't amp up the pace, wear Lebron out and then just outscore the Cavs.

Gentleman's sweep for the Warriors. I'll give the Cavs game 3 where they have a lot of rest coming into it, but game 4 after just 1 day of rest will be too much for Lebron.

Just want to point out that this is starting off with Warriors a bigger fav than Mayweather over a guy in his first pro boxing match ever.

i feel like my warriors are the underdogs here without IGGY but anything can happen when you have the heart of a champion

A few mates and I got pretty drunk about a year ago and thought going to watch the finals live would be an amazing idea.

So I'll be flying to the USA in about 12 hours - if anyone is around/plans to go to any of the games and wants to get a beer or something then let me know

LeBron will monster every game. In order for the Cavs to win, two of the woyas three stars have to have a bad game, and the Cavs need to hit their 3s. I predict that will happen in games 2, 3, 4, and 6. Cavs in 6

Takes at least 1 injury to the big 4 for this to be anywhere close to interesting. Even then I'd still say Warriors in 5. Almost all of Cleveland's roster could be considered "unplayable" against GSW for one reason or another.

Too bad the Rockets couldn't shoot last night. CLE would have a tough time with them, but at least it would be different. This is going to be the same...LeBron scores 30+...Cavs have either spacing or D, but not both....Warriors lead by 10-12 then score another 10 points in 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter

If this were the case then any true NBA fan would have stopped watching a long time ago.

The league has been scripted Sports Entertainment for a long time.

Don't care about the officiating but I expect to watch approximately zero minutes of this Finals. I'm not interested in Warriors vs Cavs for the fourth time in a row.

Yeah Adam Silver played himself

Boston vs. Houston would have probably gotten better ratings

That Mayweather line was the freest money that has ever happened in sports.

McGregor won more rounds than Cleveland will win games (ignoring that Floyd seemingly let him)

Also, even while extremely unlikely, Conor possessed the ability to win the right with one punch.

Cavs are actually drawing dead.

lol to be fair that was in large part due to Conor fans being some of the dumbest people on the planet. Mayweather should have been like -3000, and only that low in case Mayweather wanted to pull some BS and throw the fight so he could get an even crazier payday in the rematch.

It was such a good fight for casuals/fish to throw $20-100 on a +500 since they were gonna be watching it anyway. Such a unique phenomenon.

I'll watch this thing sporadically but probably not gonna get into it until the Cavs win a few games, which I don't see happening at all.

I'll watch simply because watching the splash bros go off is the most beautiful thing in basketball. Might just watch 3rd quarters lol. But if they play ugly basketball and still win I'll probably tune out.

So should teams strategize to specifically try and limit the warriors 3rd quarter runs? Pace your best players first half so they have enough energy to try to contain them 3rd quarter? Or are the warriors likely gonna go HAM regardless and trying to build the biggest lead possible first half the better move?

Thanks. Was beginning to think I wouldn't enjoy this. After 11 out of 14 failures its starting to get boring. But posts like this will make 12 out of 15 enjoyable.

3rd quarter thing is probably just variance, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
