The difference lies in the officiating. When you have referees constantly blowing the whistle turning games into stop-start fests and 11v10 its obv gonna impact the entertainment value.

There's a reason we have a btvditw.

If every freekick in the opponents' half meant a 30 second break to get the centrebacks forward and a long ball into the box then the freekicks would probably start being called less.

It's hard to be too annoyed when they are mostly taken quickly.

I've been thinking about running a Bundesliga PEEHS game. I'd keep the questions quite general for it to be as inclusive as possible even for people who don't follow the Budesliga that closely to play along.

If you're not familiar with PEEHS: it's a forum game the object of which it is to make correct predictions that the fewest other players will also make. For example: If one question is to name a club that has collected more than 60 points at season's end, Bayern would be the safest answer, but since it would be a popular answer, they'd be worth less than getting a more risky pick correct

I would try to have one question every two matchdays or so and add some end of season ones, to end up with 20-25 questions.

Before I come up with the questions and make a dedicated thread, I'll gauge interest here, because if only three people participate, it's no fun. So please give feedback if you are interested. Again, the questions won't be super complicated or detailled, so even people who only check results can easily play along.

Hello dear non-EnglishThread regs. As things stand I will be in Amsterdam for the Ajax-Psv game in early October and I would like to witness Yaya San4goal absolutely demolishing lolPSV. My question would be, how hard is it to get tickets for the game? I've seen 60-77euro tickets on the website and was wondering if a reg who goes to games (Ambush I'm looking at you) can get cheaper tickets w better location or those prices are fair given the derby? also I want to reserve it in time to make sure I'm not missing it
