It's a bit odd that this keeps happening. I don't really associate the Dutch with being particularly difficult to work with, and I have worked with a few.

Germany: 1/4-final - 5 days rest - 1/2-final - 2 days rest - final
Spain: 1/4-final - 3 days rest - 1/2-final - 3 days rest - final
England (hypothetical): 1/4-final - 3 days rest - 1/2-final - 2 days rest - final

And do you think this is reflected in the odds?

Seems to me that Spain and Germany wouldn't suffer that much being in England's place compared to a team with a much thinner squad like Portugal.
Yea I think Spain and Germany cope much better because of the quality in depth and the various options that they feel comfortable with and wouldn't affect their prices in the betting market.

England/Italy are obviously in the 'worse' positions and Italy is quite interesting because a guy like Di Natale needs rest to recover between games. If he started Sunday, I wouldn't expect him to play on the Thursday.

Portugal having the most days off might affect their price in the market and having to most likely face Spain, then Germany to win it, their price of 11/2 seems a bit short.

lol, this. All the Dutch people I've met, worked or associated with have been top guys. Maybe they're saying bad stuff about me behind my back.

Is this based on performance or is it predictive? If predictive then Russia are several places too low. At one point they were 12-1 to win the tournament.

Germany have now reached the semi-finals in 20 of the 29 major tournaments they have entered. Unbelievable record.

Listening to Rafael Honigstein it seems that unless they win the tournament then it will go down as a failure. They can't pat themselves on the back for reaching another Semi or Final. That's why I'd quite like to see a Spain - Germany final to see how they cope on their third attempt against Spain.

26 year old Chinese dude died of exhaustion, the main cause was him wanting to watch every minute of the euros, so he stayed awake for 11 days straight.

That's dedication.

the excitement of the Ireland game done it.

What kind of stats do you need?

For general stuff statto.com and soccerbase.com

For individual player stats you can use fourfourtwo app
