The gamesmanship between Trap and Bilic leading up to Sunday has been fun to watch.

Man, I'm really gonna miss Slaven.

haven't been following that closely, what's the story?

pulling for the Ireland & Croatia to go through, but that prob has like a 0.000000001% chance of happening or whatever, right? lol

Croatia have a good chance tho, think they can do it

Dutchman Bjorn Kuipers will be the referee for the Ireland/Croatia game on Sunday. He looks good in green I must say!

I think Kuipers was the referee for the Barcelona CL game where they got a penalty (and another?) for the standard corner kick shirtpulling. In the first QF? Against Milan? Can't recall.

He's not lenient (by my standards!)

They have a lot of respect for each other but Trap announced his starting lineup for the Croatia game before they played Hungary, and it was unsure if he was genuine or trying to be deceptive. Bilic went to the Hungary game and said who cares, they're ready for every single lineup the Irish could throw at them.

Just small jabs really, each guy being like "I really respect the other guy but I hope he changes it up like this, 'cause then we'll expose them."
