Re: Euro 2012 Draft

I'm a Busquets fan and I think it's a stretch.

Re: Euro 2012 Draft

Agreed. There's a few undrafted I can think of who would do a similar job and I wouldn't be surprised to see them go very late on.

Re: Euro 2012 Draft

Possibly, it's only a stretch to me if he would have still been available at 24. I think all things equal he goes around 18-25 range. Slight spew, but the positions of relative scarcity (FB and GK) won't go soon and players who can score will be available in every round.

The obvious pick was a certain player neither Cashy nor I will pick, and that's just how it is.

Re: Euro 2012 Draft

He wouldn't have been there at #24 but I think in the first two rounds you basically take the best player available and build after that.

Re: Euro 2012 Draft

I thought for my pick the BPA was relatively obvious, but I dislike him and after that it was a tossup between like 6 guys who were all a bit too soon and spewy.

I pm'd Ceire again for whenever he gets on.

Since you're gonna bring it to the public, might as well explain the reason. I don't know what your understanding of the word "coalition" is, but in my mind it certainly doesn't mean picking a player without even having the kindness of PMing me to ask me if I'm okay with that player. All I did was write a PM to you to say that I was upset over it and you just said "Whatever, I'm not gonna play anymore!"

But anyway, if you don't wanna keep playing, your decision. No reason to not move on.

There are better individual players, but Busquets makes my team a lot better, will give me so much in the middle and the wings are quite frankly loaded this tournament.
The position of ballplaying, passing central midfielder looks quite deep even now. What special thing does he give you that one of the 3-7 others doesnt?

Re: Euro 2012 Draft

Team NZ have made a management move, we've added PoseidonCubed as co-owner. Here's hoping he's got some ideas

Re: Euro 2012 Draft

Meh, commenting on what Busquets does differently is something that should wait until most of the rest are chosen. But I'm very confident he's
better then the undrafted players, so I don't really care that much. Would much rather have him and not having to sweat the CM going off the board the next 10 picks. I know the wingers I want will be available in 2 rounds.

But we're 12 picks in to an 11 round draft. Every where is relatively deep.

Guys, how many of you are from Europe? Is it possible to get skipped in the middle of the night?
