Not excusing Nyfong in any way (I think he committed the acts he did because of the opportunity to market/brand himself, not purely for victory), but I think it's easy to understand how the line between right and wrong blurs in a justice system that's set up to reward winning and punish losing, both for the accused and the representation. His job may be to seek justice, but his job performance is based on his ability to win; if he doesn't he eventually finds himself in a lesser position making less money, which isn't entirely reasonable when he enters a case without knowing whether the party he's prosecuting is guilty or not. Think it's pretty clear that the onus is in the wrong place.

No ****ing way. Yes, our justice system rewards 'winning'. That does not make ignoring/hiding exculpatory evidence ok. The line is not blurry there.

Re: the bolded - that might make it worse! Just a disgusting display and he deserved more than a day in jail iyam.

I think a lot of Americans simply don't comprehend how a crush could happen since we're used to seated stadiums and don't understand the need for pens to keep fans off the pitch and from fighting the opposing fans. Post some pictures of the fans at the front of a crush and it's not the least bit funny anymore.

It's mainly for people who weren't around for it. I watched a bit of the FX OJ series and couldn't get into it as it was so vanilla compared to watching the chase/trial on tv.

The 30f30 was original because it was sports centered.

Not having cable TV is a bit of a bummer sometimes. Have to rely on BitTorrent to get these episodes and I haven't found most of the season 2 and 3 episodes yet.

Most 30 for 30's are on Netflix. Maybe all, haven't looked it up, but every one I've searched for has been there.

It's one of the better 30 for 30s imo.

Just watched the Shaq/Penny Orlando Magic one. It was pretty meh. Worth a watch but that's about it.

I find myself not believing Shaq when he says he wanted to stay but chose not to because of the fact that the Magic didn't make it obvious they were willing to max him. But I suppose it could be true. Playing alongside Penny for another 4-5 years had to be attractive.

I mostly don't believe him because Shaq was born for LA with his interest in acting, music and attention.
