When I was a kid it was Kenny O for me, Richard Todd was just a bit before me. You also had Johnny Hector, Al Toon, Dennis Byrd, Wesley Walker, Mark Gastineau, etc.
Anyway I liked the film for what it was, not the best but solid. One of my cousins who is about 10 years younger than me (mid 20s) or so saw that and was like "wow I never realized that Elway was such a dick back in the day". That made me lol for a bit but then I was like really...I always thought he came off like a douche, even when he was winning Super Bowls.
There was one story though back in his Yankee days I thought they would go into. Basically it was the first time he went into Yankee stadium there was a story that the coaches had him stand at home facing right field...someone hands him a baseball and basically says how far can you throw it...first throw the ball lands in the 4th row just over the 314' sign...wow.
