Pissed yes, but........... "Never see the light of day!"

Maybe in jail thinking about what he did for a long time, but she is talking like she was raped or he attempted murdered.

How many of us would ask for a life sentence if some guy video taped us naked at a hotel?

I just threw up in my mouth picturing you wearing nothing but a speedo with David Eckstein's face on the front while you blow dried your hair and wiggled your ass.

She's pissed and she's exaggerating, stop being such a nit.

But in the end, we still have EA nude vids out there to see. The damage is already done.

Note: The argument could be made that she was raped emotionally, pretty badly, too.

Depends how you define it, but let's face it, being EA during that blow-up would have been so terrible.

You can argue pretty much anything when you change what words mean.

The entire world saw you naked and was like "Wow. She looks even better than I thought."

How bad can this be?

Saw a snippet of her interviewing outside the courthouse this morning while at the gym. I think her PR strategy is pretty awful - despite the sensationalism of the story it's my belief that an overwhelming majority of hetero males still didn't know who she is or were familiar with this story, but by being so public and talking about it now more casual fans and observers will recognize her in the future as "the girl whose naughty bits were exposed to millions of creepy loners on the internet".

Sample size is pretty small but over the months I've asked people about this and am surprised how many have no clue. After I saw it at the gym today I asked some of the guys there if they heard about it. Most had not. Personally I think by being so public about it it's a long-term detriment to her career unless she decides to capitalize on it instead.

i think the last CSI episode i ever watched involved id'ing the killer by sharpening a security tape to the point where they could see the killer's face in the reflection of the victim's eye lolllllllllllllllllllll

My personal favorite is Bones where they can do a full 3d holographic reconstruction of a crime scene with just the remains and a few clicks to set everything up. Makes CSI look like amateur hour.

No such thing as bad publicity, right? Especially when this incident contained two major points:

1. She was wronged, and is the victim here
2. She's looks really good naked

She didn't want this video to get out there, but now that it is she might as well use it to her advantage the best she can. And if that means getting her name out there, so be it. Surely she can't do anything with Playboy as long as she's working for Disney/ABC/ESPN, but maybe there's something else in the works (Maxim, FHM, Vogue, etc, wtf do I know about the magazine business?). And/or a book deal...

Or maybe we're just being extremely cynical here, and she's actually just using her platform to enact real reforms to the hotel business, so that this doesn't happen to anyone else again.

i am not often amazed by the cynicism on 2p2 anymore but tuq and 72off's posts are refreshingly coarse. way to bring it.

This happened five months ago. I can understand her still being upset, feeling violated, etc., but I figured by now she's past or getting past the outrage and should start focusing on what's best for her career. Which as I suggested is probably not splashing your face all over cable TV about it, alerting a whole new group of people (news watchers, where this for the most part has been on the fringe of consciousness outside of our bubble) who are now going to see her simply as the person whose n00dz were on the internet as opposed to whatever she might prefer she be known as.

Not even sure where you get "cynicism". I'm not calling her a pussy or anything (although I can verify she has one) for being emotional. In fact, I think what she's doing is 100% because she doesn't want anyone else to go through it, no ulterior motive at all. Just not sure that's what's best for her personally.

Although to 72off's point the "no such thing as bad publicity" is almost always true so who knows, the exposure could end up being beneficial.

EA is way more famous now than she was before.

Plus people think she's even hotter.

Although she is coming off like a bitch now.

I can understand her being upset, but seriously, guys have been scamming looks at naked women for millions of years.

Maybe she liked the job she had...and it was a lot more enjoyable prior to everyone mentioning how great her naked ass/breasts looked or how they can't wait to set up another peep hole to get a better view and jerk off to.
I mean I imagine it is bad enough working in a male dominated industry, being hot, but now everyone has seen you butt naked without your consent.

Her view on things seems fairly standard imo. Some women want to feel safe and secure when they use their dildo on their hotel bed...but Erin better not...cuz u never know, it happened once...can def. happen again.

Not everyone is a fame/media whore looking to milk any publicity like Lindsay Lohan etc

It's not like I created this usage just to prove a point. It's a popular idiom, and it doesn't stray that far from the definition that is often used like, "rape the city of its morale" etc.

You're right, technically, but I would venture a guess that you know exactly what I mean.
