Kante is nothing but a workhorse. Mediocre player.

Kante>Pogba

Yeah Consty has whiffed massively on this one. Kante is truly fantastic, his creative abilities are also really underrated, he can beat a player and displays great vision and decision making when on the ball.

henderson > kante

My first Langer of the season that one. OAFK posted those very words on the day Chelsea lost at Arsenal.
11-01-2016 , 08:51 AM
sadly oafk was quoting fans on some chelsea blog comments section rather than his own thoughts

a very good effort to get into the langer HOF, but just denied at the last moment

i think kante has really been the makelele type that chelsea needed again.

Damn it, knew I should have looked more closely at context.

Thought I had a gem and got excited.

Olympic Stadium can only be fixed with bulldozers.

Fifa has turned down a request from England and Scotland for players to wear armbands featuring poppies on Armistice Day, the Scottish FA says.

Hope the three FAs just go ahead and do it.

I don't think the players should be forced to wear poppies. imo it's a stupid tradition. Now the FA are asking to wear armbands with poppies on them, wtf?

I agree about wearing black arm bands when someone who was associated with the club has died. But now the FAs are taking the piss. The PL should just donate millions to the remembrance charity and not force this dinosaur tradition on everyone.

Players aren't forced to wear them.

The FA/international has nothing to do with the PL and their millions. Scottish and Welsh FA have nothing to do with the PL either.

It's the clubs who wear them, not the PL.

And it's a good tradition, reminds us how we kicked the Germans arses haha in all seriousness imagine we didn't win WW1/2!

The FA should send everyone out with a swastika armband. That will show FIFA.

That's a bit disingenuous. I'm no elrazor but there's clearly a very strong social consensus that poppies should be worn while on television during this period. Look at what happens to players who choose not to wear them. So yes, there is nothing literally forcing players to wear them, but a situation has been created in which it's unacceptable not to do so.

Lol at imagine we didn't win either world war. I don't know that much about WW1 but I do about WW2. The allies won due to America entering the war; if the Americans never joined the war it would have probably been a stalemate due to the steel production of the UK and Russia being a similar amount to what the nazis could produce. Maybe the FAs should ask if the clubs can wear kits consisting of the Stars and Stripes?

None of the Man City players wore shirts with poppies on them either.
