Can we expect all of Kos, Giroud, Ozil, Sanchez to be missing first game of the season against Pool?

Last edited by Consty; 07-12-2016 at 10:27 AM. Reason: Sanchez will probably be fit by then?

Agreed, but as a fan of his (and not United) Id rather see him start in the same position for a good team every week. Perhaps this is good for our NT though, having him train under Mourinho. We might even qualify for a tournament at some point in the future.

ikestoys is pretty much gone so we're going to need to appoint a new goalkeeping expert for the thread. anyone gonna step up?
07-12-2016 , 11:37 AM
Please don't summon ikestoys to this thread

Seems almost universal approval at ikes ban - I'm sad but won't contest it.

I'll appoint myself.

First keeper debate - in no way blaming lloris, but can a larger keeper (Courtois - 11 cm taller and larger arms) have a greater % chance of saving Eder's shot on Sunday giving France a chance to win on penalties? Of course, it might take a larger keeper longer time to reach ground....

I'm sure if they had James Lebron in goal he have saved it.

Eder makes a better shot if he's facing a better keeper.
In all seriousness, yes, I think Courtois saves that. Neuer might. Patricio 100%.

if there was a man on the post it wouldn't have gone in

i blame zonal marking
07-12-2016 , 12:30 PM
what happened to ike? i know he and LFC have been going hard in the paint at each other for about a year now
07-12-2016 , 12:33 PM
Politards bet for his forum life I think
07-12-2016 , 12:37 PM
Seems stupid, force him to donate some money somewhere instead. Tolerate his presence if you can't agree with his stance (s).
07-12-2016 , 12:38 PM
yeah he bet a life ban of his forum account on TRUMP not winning the Republican nomination
07-12-2016 , 12:44 PM
More to the point, he was being ike. The perma hasn't happened yet, I don't think.
07-12-2016 , 12:44 PM
Such a foolish bet, someone overrule the stupidity.

He'll be back anyway, just like Boris.

I'm fairly certain this is the case. Wenger goes on and on about 1 month rest for players.

Im not Fanerio in terms of bossing the midfield, but I played keeper occasionally the last few years so why not, here I am.

First bit to point out, I found out today that Brad Jones went to Feyenoord. I want to point out to Liverpool fans that it could be worse than Mignolet, as this was his (Jones) first international start

The three goals in this video are all U12 quality keeping.

As an aside, I think that a bigger keeper might save the Eder shot, but the logic of bigger is better is incredibly flawed since so many other elements go into keeping of course.

Think this is this best idea, few $$ to charity. Ikes offered this in one of the politics threads.

He's still a complete dick.

Yep, of course not trying to suggest that - just on that specific action. Definitely plenty of other skills required for a keeper. Some actions that may disadvantage a taller person.

Yea ikes is completely insufferable. I've only really engaged with him in the USMNT thread but I'm glad others see he's a ****. That said, I'm not in favor of anyone getting banned, especially permabanned unless it's for something really horrible and deserving. That said, if he bet his own banning on Trump then that's just stupid and he probably deserves it (or at least a sweat)

I bought the box myself and then the guy I know did what he does and gave it back to me. It's £30 per year for the new codes.
