Yes lol, was Celtic though I'm not that daft. After the game was pretty tense also.

I wasn't the only one to have issues that night and not all were in the Stretford end.

It's probably such a hole because Edinburgh ****s all over it.

Aside from Larsson, name one of those 'quality' players of which you speak. Obviously, the English players of the late 80/early 90s at Rangers don't count as England was banned from Europe at the time.
European Champion Brian Laudrup was quality.

**** knows, they could have a team full of exclusively midgets for all i know cause who watches spl. not me

but i know that £ = good players and they have 50k at home every week plus plenty of ghws to flog shirts to so they must've had a few

Pete's right that Glasgow is a dump (all the places I go are anyway) but the list of quality players is a long one.

Just recently we've sent half a team (VvD Wanyama Forster Ki Hooper) to PL clubs, nearly all having some success. Steven Davis the last monkey to come down, he's alright (Jelavic wasn't all bad). Doubt any of ^^^ make top 10 players in last 15 years.

Lubo! English football not had a player as good as him apart from Ronaldo.

This would be a lot more interesting if Rangers or Celtic were actually good at footballing

I'll read when Celtic manages to beat a bunch of Gibraltar fishermen on their turf

meanwhile in actual games, exeter are giving the new look johnstone's paint trophy the respect it deserves, with their manager naming a 15 year old and himself on the bench

edit - wycombe's manager also named himself on the bench. only listing six subs though, i guess with akinfenwa on the bench there's limited space

Is that the same 15 year old who has already made two league appearances and been named man of the match on his debut?

Erzgebirge Aue actually signed their kit man to a pro player contract to fill up their squad for this season

Quick Google indicates probably

He looked good in comparison. So did Marco Negri.

Good players don't go to Scotland at their peak, they leave Scotland when the rest of Europe realises they've let someone decent slip through the net.

See Viduka, Arteta, Gattuso, Forster, Wanyama.

Who was the last decent player to move to Scotland at his peak?
Alan Stubbs?

Bolton are losing to Everton's academy.
08-30-2016 , 03:05 PM
give them btvditw money and see how many of them decide they really love scotland after all

Once the likes of Southampton and Stoke have decided they're not interested in them...

They'll get the 3rd tier players at best.
08-30-2016 , 03:15 PM
They should copy the Celtic league In rugby.

Think of the carnage at those games

Brian Laudrup turned down Barcelona to play for Rangers and arguably played through his Prime there.
I'm not trying to make it out that the SPL has been rife with great foreign footballers, but no point trying to deny the few that were there.

So even if I give you one that you yourself admit is arguable, then Larsson and Laudrup makes two. A few would be correct then. Impressive.

Seems like most of the academy sides are doing quite well

Not at all.

Sutton, Harston, Lennon and champions league winner Paul Lambert all went to Celtic at the top of their game. Countless huns have done the same, ffs they had half the dutch squad at one time and a **** load of Italian internationals.

DiCanio still one the most entertaining to play PL football, VanHooijdonk no slouch. Loads of others.

Gonna disregard everything else you say now Pete as your are showing your complete lack of knowledge.
