If I was a player I would say I was injured and withdraw. My in-laws stayed over a few months back and they had some **** with Walsh on TV, it was intolerable.

I never had you down as a fan of the Conference. Why are we not getting Hamilton Academicals too?

Can someone explain who Mason Holgate is and does he have a chance of retaining his position in the starting lineup once Everton's injured players recover?

Holgate is going to be really good and deserves to keep Seamus Coleman on the bench after his start to the season.

So we're a Scottish league too, but only if you have enough supporters and will bring enough flamable sectarian nonsense with you? Sounds good.

That's always been the general thrust of the argument, aye. Not sure what will be different this time compared to last when the English teams voted no.

we've had this discussion b4 and you asked wat the difference is between having them 2 in and having barca in.

the answer then and now is that frankly the scots are less weird than the geordies & we let them in, they only about 100 miles up the road, they speak the same language (sort of, but again, geordies), and they have well supported clubs that are obviously not really suited to be competing with the rest of the spl given that they've both won it 50 times and the next closest is aberdeen on 4.

cardiff and swansea beating random sheep farmers 11-0 every week in the plide cymry league would be no good for anyone and its the exact same thing

plus if barca wanna join and make it so i dont have to watch lol liga to get some messi then im for that too (boot them out when he moves/retires)

The fact that the OF aren't well suited to the Scottish League isn't the problem of clubs south of the border. It isn't for the Premier League to solve their problems for them. They can redistribute some funds to make the division a bit more competitive or something.

If, heaven help us, they do let them in, then things like sectarian twaddle and knife crime will then become the problem of football supoorters in England (and parts of Wales) too. Unfortunately they won't be issues for you, which is a shame as a on the evidence of the post above a gentle chibbing might do you some good.

ur always banging on about how much better football was in the 80s, and when i offer you the chance of reintroducing violence in football you balk?

anyway they'll obv save all the sectarian stuff for the rangers/celtic games

Get me some terraces, TV black-outs, bubble perms and stuff like that and I'm game. I don't mind regressing for some savagery, but Glasgow is a little too far.

I guarantee that Celtic will participate in a maximum of three games before a chant of "Big Jock knew" kicks off and stuff escalates from there. I've said it before, if Celtic are looking for a new home it should be the League of Ireland.

Last sentence clearly and verifiably false.

Not sure Celtic would be happy playing second fiddle to Dundalk tbh, best send them somewhere else.

Celtic and Rangers have their own league - they are where they are meant to be.
08-30-2016 , 09:47 AM
Just because they've ruined one league doesn't mean they should have the right to screw up another.
What would happen if they got relegated in their first season?

you say that like it's a bad thing.

you should take them because it would be great entertainment. you dont need any other reason.
08-30-2016 , 10:13 AM
I'm in the camp to have them come and play. Would add a lot of value to whichever league they end up in.
